Be attractive!
I’m gonna give you a couple examples on how to do that.
1) Be attractive in the words you use.
When you’re calling someone about your new MLM venture… do not use the word “MLM”, do not say things like “Oh.. you’d be so good at this” or “You’re going to love what I’m about to show you”.
Listen, you want to come across with some posture which basically means, as far as your concerned, you could care less whether your prospect says yes or no to you.
You are simply bringing them something that may be of great value to them.
Here are a few words you can use.
“Lucrative”
“Project”
“This may or may not be a fit for you”
Here’s how that looks.
“Jey Jill, this is Paul, how ya doin? Great.. listen, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about something.
I’ve been working on a project the last few months and it’s turning out to be pretty lucrative.
This may or may not be a fit for you but I wanted to run it by you to see what you think.
Does that sound fair?”
You see, those words, if said correctly are attractive. They’re not desperate, they’re not beggy…they’re attractive.
Here’s another quick tip. If Jill says, “you know what… I’m really not interested.”
One thing you don’t want to do is throw your hands in the air, open your eyes wide and scream “WHY? Why are YOU so stupid, Why Am I So Stupid?”
That’s the wrong reaction. LOL
I know that seems silly.. but that’s what you’re doing when you push and push and sell and sell after someone has said “no”.
Here’s another network marketing tip on how you graciously accept a “no”…
“Hey, I really appreciate you taking a look at this. Let me ask you this…. who do you know that is entrepreneurial… who do you know that has sales skills… so on and so forth…” you get the point.
2) Lastly… always learn and add value to yourself.
When you add value to yourself by becoming more knowledgeable and skillful, you will naturally attract people that want and need what you can offer.
People are attracted to other people that can add value to them.
You need to become that person of value.
